Great Place to live!
I lived here during an urgent life transition, and the staff were very supportive and accommodating. Susan, the Community ... Manager is especially warm and welcoming, truly making me feel welcome from the start. The community has a peaceful atmosphere, and I loved the pool area with music always playing. The homes themselves are updated and clean, completely detached with no shared walls and nice-sized yards. It truly feels more like living in a single-family residence. The location is another plus. So close to excellent shopping yet tucked away so it never feels busy or noisy. If you are looking for a well-managed place with a comfy, residential feel, I would highly recommend Pillar Lago! I love living here, love all the vegetation surrounding the units & love love love having a tree in my patio, I feel safer ... here than I did in my Sun City condo, I don’t worry about my pug being on my patio from coyotes like I did there. Proof is a rabbit I see here since I’ve been here, I see one there one day, never to be seen again since my neighbor there had one jump over his block wall after a rabbit & his unit wasn’t an end unit like mine was so I didn’t want my dogs the using doggie door without me there with them! Amenities
This is a great little community. Where my unit is located, the noise level is non-existent. People are friendly. The ... staff is great. Your maintenance requests are handled promptly. The grounds are well maintained. The pool/public areas are well maintained. I am not a big fan of paying for assigned parking spaces, but a small price to pay to know no one else will park in your space. The property itself is very convenient to Peoria and the surrounding area. Traffic congestion is not bad. My only issue is they do not provide an option to not pay for concierge garbage pickup. Not sure why anyone would give this place anything other than 5 stars! We have lived here for over a year now and absolutely love it! The maintenance guys are always on top of making sure things get fixed in a timely manner and are always so kind. The homes are beautiful inside and out the community is amazing and we always have something going on to get people together.
